Our Magical Sleigh Rides are back this November. Following the latest government guidance, your Christmas experience this year will be a little different to normal but still full of festive fun and magical adventure!

We’ve listed some of the new safety measures we have put in place below, along with some useful information about your visit. These measures may change as government guidance is updated.

Don’t forget, we’re also proud holders of the Visit Britain ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry standard mark. This shows that we have passed an assessment to confirm that we are correctly following COVID-19 government guidelines.

How we’re keeping customers and staff safe this Christmas.

We have undertaken detailed risk assessments and training for our 2020 Christmas event. We’ve worked hard to identify additional safety measures and precautions across the park to ensure that a visit to our Christmas event is safe for the whole family. This includes:

-Reducing the number of visitors on site, and on Santa’s Sleigh

-Changing from mixed group visits to Santa’s Grotto to individual family group visits to Santa’s Grotto

-We have placed extra hand-sanitiser & hand wash stations at the entrances, exits and at regular stops around Piglets Adventure Farm and our team will be operating an increased cleaning schedule.

-We’ll have formalised queuing and some areas of Piglets Adventure Farm may have one way systems to aid social distancing.

-We have appropriate PPE and screens in place for our team to make sure they are safe.

What To Expect During You Visit

What’s Included in my Christmas Experience Ticket?

-In addition to your Magical Sleigh Ride, Meeting Santa in his Grotto, Visiting Santa’s magical Woodland Village, choosing a Toy from the Toy Shop and lots more, our Animal Barn and outdoor play equipment will be open, weather permitting.

-NEW for this year, Gingerbread Workshop in the Woodland Village is also included in your ticket.

-Following government guidelines, some attractions at Piglets Adventure Farm will remain closed. This includes our Indoor Bale Play Baaarn, Barrel Train Ride, Tractor and Trailer Ride, The Beach, Animal Feeding & Petting, Coffee House & Soft Play Area.

-Please remember that lots of our activities are outdoors. Don’t forget to wrap up warm and bring wellington boots and umbrellas if it’s a rainy day.

-You are welcome to stay all day at the farm from the time of your allocated arrival time slot.

Your Sleigh Ride

-To adhere to government guidelines and keep our staff and customers safe, this year there will be reduced visitor numbers throughout our Christmas experience, including on Santa’s Sleigh.

-As in previous years, all visitors (including members) must book their seat on Santa’s sleigh in advance online, and entry slots will be staggered to ensure everyone can keep to the governments social distancing requirements.

-There will be 3 rows of seats available on each sleigh ride, with space between each row to allow for social distancing.

-To book a ticket to visit our Christmas experience you must be part of a group no smaller than 3 people and no larger than 6 people. Everyone in your group must be from the same family or social bubble.

-Don’t forget to arrive 30 minutes before your sleigh departure time to allow time for check in, visiting the departure lounge and designing your very own passport. Late arrivals will miss their flight to visit Santa.

Your Visit to Santa’s Grotto

-This year, instead of inviting mixed groups to visit Santa, all visits will be undertaken in individual family groups.

-Visitors will enter Santa’s grotto only with members of their own family or support bubble, who must be seated on the same sleigh row.

-Please note, if you are booked onto the same sleigh ride as a friend or another family member, but they are not on the same sleigh row as you, you will not be able to visit Santa’s grotto together.

-Social distancing will be in place within Santa’s grotto.

Face Coverings in Indoor Areas

-Following Government guidance, all visitors over the age of 11 must wear an adequate face covering in all indoor areas throughout Piglets Adventure Farm.

-This includes the park Entrance, Departure Lounge, Santa’s Grotto, Toy Shop and Animal Barn.

-We are unable to provide face coverings for visitors, so please remember to bring your own.

Food & Drink Outlets

-Elf Airlines Bar and Grill will be open during peak times serving hot drinks, hot dogs, fries and snacks. Pizzas will be served in the woodland village daily.

-We welcome picnics on site but ask that visitors take their rubbish home with them to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19 on site.

-Please note, our Coffee House will remain closed.

Toilets & Facilities

-Our Farm Park toilets and Coffee House toilets will be closed.

-Our Gift Shop & Woodland Village toilets will be open.

-We have a dedicated toilet attendant and park cleaner to regularly sanitise high contact areas.

-If you require an accessible toilet please let one of our team members know upon arrival.

-Baby Changing facilities are available.

Will I be able to just turn up on the day if I haven’t booked a ticket?

Will I be able to arrive at Piglets Adventure Farm outside of my allocated arrival time?

-It’s really important that you keep to your allocated arrival time. We won’t be able to permit entrance for any visitor, including members, who have not booked a time slot.

If I or a member of my household have Covid-19 symptoms on the day that I have booked to visit what should I do?
