Our Magical Sleigh Ride Experience is back and here is all you need to know!
What’s included in my Magical Sleigh Ride Experience ticket?
In addition to your Magical Sleigh Ride, you will be meeting Santa in his Grotto, visiting Santa’s magical Woodland Village, choosing a toy from the Toy Shop and lots more in our Animal Barn, Farmyard Trail, and outdoor adventure park (some outdoor play activities are weather permitting). Before catching your Magical Sleigh Ride, chartered by Elf Airlines, you will send a postcard to Santa and stamp your passport at the Polar Post Office. In the Woodland Village there’s a chance to join the Elf Academy and learn what it truly takes to bring out your inner elf! Visit Mrs Claus in her Sweet Shoppe and enjoy delicious freshly made pizza at the North Pole Pizza Co.
When should we arrive on the day of our Sleigh Ride?
It is important you arrive 30 minutes before your Sleigh Ride to allow time to check In, visit the Departure Lounge and send a postcard to Santa and stamp your passport at the Polar Post Office.
Unfortunately, late arrivals will miss their flight to visit Santa.
How long does the Magical Sleigh Rides Experience last?
The Magical Sleigh Ride, meeting Santa in his Grotto and visiting the Toyshop takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you have visited the Toyshop it is up to you how long you spend there before catching your sleigh back. As mentioned, it is important you arrive 30 minutes before your sleigh ride time slot.
How do I book tickets?
Tickets are only available online. Tickets go live on the website at 6am on Friday 16th September 2022.
You will be asked to select a time slot for your sleigh ride and confirm your group size. All visitors (including members) must book their place on the Sleigh.
Sleigh seats are allocated on a first come first served basis and tickets are limited.
Upon booking we ask all our visitors to agree to our terms and conditions to make sure everyone knows what to expect when visiting us.
What are the prices?
It depends which time slots you wish to book as to whether you are on a low, mid, or high peak Sleigh Ride.
-High: £21.95 per passenger
-Mid: £16.95 per passenger
-Low: £11.95 per passenger
-Under 1’s*: £6.95
*Must be on knee of paying adult
*Receives a gift from Santa’s Toy Shop
How do I book tickets as an Annual Member?
All annual membership holders will receive a 10% discount booking code.
To book select your sleigh ride date and time using the same ticket link as those who are not annual members and enter your 10% discount code when requested at the checkout process.
The code will be sent to you via email on Tuesday 6th September 2022.
If you do not receive the code, please email info@pigletsadventurefarm.com quoting your membership number.
What do we wear?
Much of the Magical Sleigh Ride Experience is undercover with heating and many of our pathways are clean and weatherproof however much of the attraction is outdoor so wrap up warm, bring wellies and an umbrella just in case.
What food and beverage are on offer?
The North Pole Pizza Co. has two outposts one in the Departure Lounge and another in the Woodland Village. It will be serving delicious freshly made pizzas and toasted sandwiches along with a range of hot and cold drinks, beer, mulled wine, ice cream and snacks.
We welcome picnics on site but ask our visitors to take rubbish home.
What are the toilets and changing facilities?
There are toilets at the Entrance and check-in area, the Woodland Village, and the main toilet block in the Adventure Farm. We have a dedicated cleaning team that will be cleaning throughout the day.
If you require an accessible toilet, please let one of our team members know upon arrival.
Baby Changing facilities are available in the Adventure Farm and in the Woodland Village.
I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?
Unfortunately, no refunds will be given to visitors who have booked a ticket and are unable to attend. We advise setting up an account when checking out, this will allow you to login and amend your tickets at a cost of £2.
If you have not set up an account and would still like to transfer your ticket to an alternative available date you will need to email info@pigletsadventurefarm.com or call 01904 499183. Please be aware there will be a booking transfer fee of £5.
Will I be able to just turn up on the day if I haven’t booked a ticket?
Unfortunately not. All visitors including members must pre-book a ticket. We do not allow walk ins on our site, to maintain a safe environment for our staff and visitors.
Will I be able to arrive at Piglets Adventure Farm outside of my allocated arrival time?
Yes, your sleigh ride tickets allow you access to Piglets Adventure Farm anytime within our opening times, between 9:30am-5:30pm on the day your sleigh ride is booked. You can arrive as early as you would like but it is important to arrive 30 minutes before your sleigh ride time slot to allow the necessary time to check in.
Will Piglets Adventure Farm be open if we don’t want to go on the Magical Sleigh Rides Experience?
Yes, the Animal Barn, Farmyard Trail and most of the Adventure Park will be open and available to book online from the 19th of November to 24th December.
Is anything not running at Piglets Adventure Farm whilst the Magical Sleigh Rides Experience is running?
The indoor Play Barn is closed and will be reopening for February half term 2023. The Barrel Train Ride, Maize Maze, the Beach area, Tractor and Trailer Ride and the Fairy Trail will not be open during the Christmas event. In the event of inclement weather, the Bouncing Pillows maybe also be closed.
