IMPORTANT CHRISTMAS EVENT INFORMATION
It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our 2020 Magical Christmas Experience with Sleigh Rides has been cancelled and we cannot honour bookings that have been made. As parents ourselves, we know how disappointing this will be for you and your children. Unfortunately, we cannot see a way to continue with the event in this difficult period and we must play our part in helping slow the spread of Covid-19.
Following the Government announcement of a second national lockdown from the 4th November until 2nd December we have spent a lot of time trying to find ways to make the event work. However, the conclusion is that it is not logistically or financially viable to proceed with this year’s event.
The capacity had already fallen to 60% of last year’s event before the second national lockdown was imposed. We are now left with 40% of 2019 capacity with the same set up and infrastructure costs which has made the event unviable.
What Happens Next?
For those who have pre booked tickets to this year’s event there are two options, a credit voucher or refund. We have emailed everyone who has booked tickets directly, please check your junk folders just in case.

**Important information about Indoor Play**
Whilst the latest government guidance allows Indoor Play to re-open, the Indoor Bale Play Baaarn will not yet be re-opening at this time. We’re currently doing some maintenance to make the Bale Play Baaarn better than ever before, we do hope you understand. We have lots of outdoor activities for your little piggies to enjoy during your visit including The Beach, Fairy Tale Trail, Farmyard Trail, Crazy Golf and lots more!
A visit to Piglets Adventure Farm will be a little different from usual, but still packed full of family fun and adventure! We’ve listed some of the new safety measures we have put in place below, along with some useful information about your visit. These measures may change as government guidance is updated.
We’re also proud holders of the Visit Britain ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry standard mark. This shows that we have passed an assessment to confirm that we are correctly following COVID-19 government guidelines.
Please note: we are not currently offering any ticket discounts.
How we’re keeping customers and staff safe:
During the time we have been closed our team have undertaken detailed risk assessments and training. We’ve worked hard to implement additional safety measures and precautions across the park to ensure that a visit to Piglets Adventure Farm is safe for the whole family.
-All visitors (including members) must purchase tickets online in advance of their visit, with details taken upon booking to ensure we can track and trace if needed. We’ll be reserving a proportion of tickets each day especially for our Annual Members. These tickets will be released every Thursday for the following Monday – Sunday dates.
-We’ll limit the number of visitors to the park each day and have staggered entry slots to ensure everyone can keep to the government social distancing requirements.
-Upon booking, we’ll ask all visitors to accept our Customer Agreement to make sure everyone knows what to expect when visiting us. This includes things like agreeing to social distancing, only visiting in family groups or social bubbles and sanitising your hands before and after using play equipment.
-We have placed extra hand-sanitiser & handwash stations at the entrances, exits and at regular stops around Piglets Adventure Farm and our team will be operating an increased cleaning schedule.
-We’ll have formalised queuing and some areas of Piglets Adventure Farm may have one way systems to aid social distancing.
-We have appropriate PPE and screens in place for our team to make sure they are safe.
-Our Coffee House and Entrance Retail Toilets will be closed to meet the governments social distancing requirements. The only toilet facilities open within the business will be the ones located in the centre of the park. We have a dedicated toilet attendant and park cleaner to regularly sanitise high contact areas.
-Some of our catering outlets will be closed, but our Ice Cream Parlour, Piggy Pizza Parlour & The Beach Café will be serving a selection of takeaway food and drinks.
-Following government guidelines, some attractions at Piglets Adventure Farm will remain closed.
If you are not feeling well with either one or more of the symptoms of Covid-19, it’s important that you and those who you have been in close contact with do not visit Piglets Adventure Farm, stay at home and follow government and NHS 111 advice.
Please follow social distancing and keep apart from other households during your visit to Piglets Adventure Farm.
Will everything be open at Piglets Adventure Farm?
-Following government guidelines, some attractions at Piglets Adventure Farm will remain closed until further notice.
-Unfortunately, we cannot yet open our Indoor Bale Play Baaarn, Barrel Train Ride, Tractor and Trailer Ride, Water Play at The Beach and Water Wars, Animal Activities and Animal Demonstrations.
-Please remember that following government guidelines all of our open activities are outdoors. Don’t forget to bring wellington boots and umbrellas if it’s a rainy day and sun hats and sun cream for the sunshine!
These closures will be reviewed regularly in line with government guidance.
Will I be able to just turn up on the day if I haven’t booked a ticket?
-All visitors including members must pre-book their tickets and arrival timeslot online in advance of their visit. This ensures that we can manage social distancing and the number of visitors on site.
Will I be able to arrive at Piglets Adventure Farm outside of my allocated arrival time?
-We’ve introduced arrival times so make sure that visitors are evenly spaced around Piglets Adventure Farm to make sure that visitors and staff are safe.
-It’s really important that you keep to your allocated arrival time. We won’t be able to permit entrance for any visitor, including members, who have not booked a timeslot.
How long can I stay at Piglets Adventure Farm?
-You are welcome to stay all day from the time of your allocated arrival timeslot.
If I or a member of my household have Covid-19 symptoms on the day that I have booked to visit what should I do?
-If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 it’s really important that you stay at home and don’t visit us. All tickets are non-refundable but they can be transferred to another day if you are unable to visit due to COVID-19 symptoms or isolation. If this applies to you, please contact us on email@example.com.
Will there be food & drinks available to purchase on site?
-Some of our catering outlets will be closed, but our Ice Cream Parlour, Piggy Pizza Parlour & The Beach Café will be serving a selection of takeaway food and drinks. We will only be accepting card payments on site and a formalised queuing system will be in place.
Can I bring a picnic?
-Picnics are allowed on site but we ask that all rubbish is taken home to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19 on site.
Do you have disabled access toilets?
-If you require an accessible toilet please let one of our team members know upon arrival.
I have a gift voucher, can I use it to book tickets online?
-From 6th September, customers will be able to redeem Gift Vouchers online when booking tickets. Simply enter your Gift Voucher details into our booking system when prompted, during the ticket check out process.
-Customers can also use their gift vouchers to purchase food & drink and items from the gift shop on site.
I have a complimentary day pass, can I use it book tickets online?
-Whilst all tickets must be booked online in advance of customers visiting us, unfortunately our current system does not enable us to accept complimentary tickets online. To redeem your complimentary ticket please call our team 01904 499183 who will process your booking over the phone.
I have an unredeemed radio voucher, how can I use it?
-All Radio Voucher tickets are purchased through our partner radio stations and no money exchanges hands with Piglets Adventure Farm. We are aware that there are a number of radio vouchers that were purchased for our Easter 2020 event that remain unredeemed due to the closure of the farm. All radio vouchers will be extended until Easter 2021. You will receive an email from the radio station you booked with, who will provide you with a code and instructions on how to book a ticket. If you do not receive this email, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get the code, make sure you provide your original booking reference number.
