Our Magical Sleigh Ride Experience is back and here is all you need to know!
The Experience
Before boarding your magical sleigh (chartered by Elf Airlines), you’ll:
- Write and send a postcard to Santa.
- Stamp your passport at the Polar Post Office in the Departure Lounge.
- Board the sleigh at your allocated flight time for a ride to Santa’s Woodland Village.
Once there, you’ll:
- Meet Santa in his cosy Grotto.
- Choose a special gift in Santa’s Toy Shop.
- Join the Elf Academy show in the teepee and discover your inner elf!
- Visit Mrs Claus’s Sweet Shop.
- Enjoy delicious pizzas at the North Pole Pizza Co.
- Make magical reindeer food to take home.
- Make a wish at the Wishing Tree.
Please note: The Adventure Park (Animal Barn, Farmyard Trail, outdoor play) is weather permitting and may be closed for safety at our discretion.
You’ll visit Santa with your party and other families travelling on the same sleigh. Each sleigh holds up to 22 passengers (including under 1’s).
Please arrive 30 minutes before your sleigh ride time to check in, visit the Departure Lounge, and send your postcard to Santa.
Late arrivals will miss their flight and cannot be rescheduled – the event is fully sold out.
The sleigh ride, Santa visit, and Toy Shop take about 1.5 hours. You can then enjoy as much time as you like in the Woodland Village before catching your return sleigh.
As mentioned, it is important you arrive 30 minutes before your sleigh ride time slot.
Yes – There will be time for a professional photograph in the Grotto with Santa, and you can then purchase this with options for gifts such as baubles and frames. You can also take a photo with your own camera.
The North Pole Pizza Co. has two outposts; one in the Departure Lounge and another in the Woodland Village.
It will be serving delicious freshly made pizzas and toasted sandwiches, along with a range of hot and cold drinks, beer, mulled wine, ice cream and snacks.
We welcome picnics on site, but ask our visitors to take rubbish home.
Booking & Prices
Tickets are only available online. Tickets go live on the website at 6am on Friday 12th September 2025.
Tickets are online only and go live on Friday 12th September 2025 at 6am. Select your sleigh time slot and group size when booking.
You will be asked to select a time slot for your sleigh ride and confirm your group size. All visitors (including members) must book their place on the Sleigh.
Sleigh seats are allocated on a first come first served basis and tickets are limited.
Upon booking we ask all our visitors to agree to our terms and conditions to make sure everyone knows what to expect when visiting us.
It depends which time slots you wish to book as to whether you are on a low, mid, or high peak Sleigh Ride.
-High: £32.95 per passenger
-Mid: £23.95 per passenger
-Low: £15.95 per passenger
-Under 1’s*: £9.95 per baby
*Child to be seated on the adult knee on Sleigh ride
*Receives a gift from Santa’s Toy Shop
All annual membership holders will receive a 10% discount booking code.
To book your discounted tickets, please proceed to the Magical Sleigh ride ticketing page on our website. When finalising your tickets, enter your 10% discount code when requested at the checkout process.
The code will be sent to you via email week commencing 8th September 2025.
If you do not receive the code, please email info@pigletsadventurefarm.com quoting your membership number.
Unfortunately, no refunds will be given to visitors who have booked a ticket and are unable to attend. We advise setting up an account when checking out, this will allow you to login and amend your tickets at a cost of £2.
If you have not set up an account and would still like to transfer your ticket to an alternative available date you will need to email info@pigletsadventurefarm.com or call 01904 499183. Please be aware there will be a booking transfer fee of £5.00.
Unfortunately, not. All visitors including members must pre-book a ticket.
We do not allow walk ins on our site during the Magical Sleigh Ride experience.
Yes, your sleigh ride tickets allow you access to Piglets Adventure Farm anytime within our opening hours, between 9:30am-4pm (The adventure park is not lit past 4pm) on the day your sleigh ride is booked.
You can arrive as early as you would like but, it is important to arrive 30 minutes before your sleigh ride time slot to allow the necessary time to check in.
Please note, that in the case of bad weather we will close areas of the park that are not part of the Magical Sleigh Ride experience, this is at our discretion to maintain good heath and safety across the site.
On The Day
Only to our members, the Animal Barn, Farmyard Trail and most of the Adventure Park will be open from 21st November to 24th December 2025 weather permitting.
The Indoor Play Barn is closed and will be reopening for February half term 2026.
The Indoor Play Barn, Barrel Train Ride, Maize Maze, the Beach area, Tractor and Trailer Ride and the Fairy Trail will not be open during the Christmas event.
In the event of inclement weather, the Go Karts and Bouncing pillows maybe also be closed.
There are toilets at the Entrance and check-in area, the Woodland Village, and the main toilet block in the Adventure Farm.
If you require an accessible toilet, please let one of our team members know upon arrival.
Baby Changing facilities are available in the Adventure Farm and in the Woodland Village.
Some of the Magical Sleigh Ride Experience is undercover with heating and many of our pathways are clean and weatherproof however, much of the attraction is outdoor so wrap up warm, bring wellies and waterproofs just in case.
No, unfortunately we cannot accommodate any prams or buggy’s in the woodland village. Please bring a baby carrier/sling to carry your child.
Your safety is our top priority. If the Met Office issues an official Yellow, Amber, or Red weather warning for our area, Piglets Adventure Farm may need to close for the day.
If we close, we’ll contact all affected bookings by email and/or text.
A full refund will be issued automatically within 2–5 working days.
As our Christmas event is often fully sold out, we’re unable to transfer tickets between dates. If you’d like to attend on another day, you’ll need to make a new booking online (subject to availability).
We’ll share updates by email and on our social media channels, so please check before you travel.
If there is no official weather warning, the event will go ahead as planned. For safety, some outdoor areas may be closed at our discretion.
