FAQs

Piglets Adventure Farm is located at Towthorpe Grange, Towthorpe Moor Lane, York, North Yorkshire, YO32 9ST. It is approximately 15 minutes by car from York city centre, situated between Strensall Road and the A64. The farm is easily accessible by car or taxi, with free parking available on site.

We’re open daily throughout September, with your admission ticket packed full of farmyard fun! Enjoy all our usual activities and attractions, including animal encounters, outdoor play, tractor rides, exciting play areas and plenty of space to explore. Plus, get hands-on with our seasonal Potato & Carrot Dig and take your freshly dug harvest home!

Your Magical Sleigh Ride ticket includes your complete journey from the Elf Airlines Departure Lounge to Santa’s Woodland Village.

  • Before you board your sleigh:
    • Enjoy the Elf Airlines Departure Lounge
    • Board your Magical Sleigh at your allocated departure time
  • At Santa’s Woodland Village:
    • Visit Santa in his cosy Grotto
    • Choose a special gift in Santa’s Toy Shop
    • NEW FOR 2026: Visit The Gingerbread Factory
    • Enjoy a fun and festive Gingerbread Factory show
    • Decorate your own gingerbread biscuit – included for every child
    • Adults will be served a warming glass of mulled wine during the Gingerbread Factory experience
    • Write and send a postcard to Santa
    • Get your passport stamped at the Polar Post Office
    • Visit Mrs Claus’ Sweet Shop
    • Make magical reindeer food to take home

Yes, we have several fantastic options. The Trough Café and Piggy Pizza Parlour are open all year round. The Ice Cream Parlour and Beach Café are open during weekends and school holidays. Find out more here.

Piglets Adventure Farm is fantastic for a family day out, can spend the whole day there. Lots of farm animals with the opportunity to get close and touch some of them, and learn how to look after them… Best thing and value for money we did on our trip to Yorkshire.

Lovely visit as always, 1st time for my almost 1 year old to visit along with her older sister and she had the best time, especially looking at the different animals. My eldest really enjoyed the carrot/potato digging surprisingly as well as all the usual activities; always plenty of activities for all ages.

Amazing day out! Took 2 children 3 and 7 and there was soo much to keep both of them entertained. We rented one of the beach huts for a picnic and the kids loved the beach and the pedal go karts. Well worth a visit.
