Our Magical Sleigh Ride Experience is back and here is all you need to know!
The Experience
Your Magical Sleigh Ride ticket includes your complete journey from the Elf Airlines Departure Lounge to Santa’s Woodland Village.
- Before you board your sleigh:
- Enjoy the Elf Airlines Departure Lounge
- Board your Magical Sleigh at your allocated departure time
- At Santa’s Woodland Village:
- Visit Santa in his cosy Grotto
- Choose a special gift in Santa’s Toy Shop
- NEW FOR 2026: Visit The Gingerbread Factory
- Enjoy a fun and festive Gingerbread Factory show
- Decorate your own gingerbread biscuit – included for every child
- Adults will be served a warming glass of mulled wine during the Gingerbread Factory experience
- Write and send a postcard to Santa
- Get your passport stamped at the Polar Post Office
- Visit Mrs Claus’ Sweet Shop
- Make magical reindeer food to take home
- Make a wish at the Wishing Tree
- Plus plenty of festive atmosphere, entertainment and Christmas magic along the way!
This Christmas we’re opening the doors to our brand-new Gingerbread Factory!
Every Magical Sleigh Ride ticket includes entry to this festive experience.
Families will enjoy a fun and interactive show discovering what happens inside the busiest biscuit factory at the North Pole.
Then it’s time to get creative!
- Every child will decorate their very own gingerbread biscuit.
- Adults will be served a warming glass of mulled wine during the experience.
- The Gingerbread Factory experience is included in the price of your Magical Sleigh Ride ticket — there is no additional charge.
Please note that our Magical Sleigh Ride includes a group visit to Santa.
Each sleigh travels together to Santa’s Woodland Village and the passengers travelling on that sleigh will visit Santa’s Grotto as part of the same group experience.
Each sleigh holds up to 22 passengers, including babies under one.
You may therefore meet Santa alongside other families travelling on your sleigh.
Yes — but everyone must book onto the same Magical Sleigh departure time.
If you are visiting as a larger family group or with friends and are making separate bookings, please make sure that all parties select the same sleigh time.
IMPORTANT
We are unable to reunite families who have booked onto different sleighs.
Once bookings have been made, we cannot move guests between sleighs or combine groups travelling at different times.
If you want to experience Santa’s Grotto together, please make sure everyone books onto the same sleigh departure time.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your sleigh ride time to check in, visit the Departure Lounge, and send your postcard to Santa.
Late arrivals will miss their flight and cannot be rescheduled – the event is fully sold out.
The sleigh ride, Santa visit, and Toy Shop take about 1.5 hours. You can then enjoy as much time as you like in the Woodland Village before catching your return sleigh.
As mentioned, it is important you arrive 30 minutes before your sleigh ride time slot.
Yes!
There will be an opportunity for a professional photograph with Santa during your visit.
Professional photographs can be purchased afterwards, with a range of festive keepsakes available, including options such as baubles and frames.
You are also welcome to take photographs using your own phone or camera.
Yes, picnics are welcome.
We simply ask that you help us keep Piglets clean and beautiful by taking your rubbish home or using the bins provided.
Our North Pole Pizza Co. will be serving a range of festive food and drinks in Santa’s Woodland Village.
This includes:
- Fresh pizzas
- Toasted sandwiches
- Hot and cold drinks
- Mulled wine
- Beer
- Ice cream
- Snacks and festive treats
Food and drink options may vary throughout the season.
Your Magical Sleigh Ride, visit with Santa and Toy Shop experience takes approximately 1.5 hours.
You can then spend as much time as you like exploring and enjoying Santa’s Woodland Village before catching your return sleigh.
Booking & Prices
Magical Sleigh Ride tickets are online only and must be booked in advance.
When booking, you will select your preferred sleigh departure time and the number of passengers travelling in your party.
Advance booking is essential as availability is limited.
Tickets are only available online. Tickets go live on the website at 6am on Friday 11th September 2026.
Ticket prices vary according to the date and time selected.
- Under 1: £9.95 per baby
- Low: £15.95 per passenger
- Mid: £23.95 per passenger
- High: £32.95 per passenger
- Peak: £34.95 per passenger
Babies under one must sit on the knee of a paying adult during the Magical Sleigh Ride and will receive a special gift from Santa.
Unfortunately, we do not offer free carer tickets for our Magical Sleigh Ride event. All guests attending the experience, including carers, require a paid ticket.
We do, however, offer a range of ticket prices across the event, with Low, Mid, High and Peak rates depending on the date you choose. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you to Piglets for some Christmas magic!
Annual Members will receive details of their exclusive Magical Sleigh Ride booking benefit ahead of ticket sales.
Please make sure you are subscribed to receive emails from Piglets so you don’t miss important Christmas booking information.
If you do not receive the code, please email info@pigletsadventurefarm.com quoting your membership number.
Magical Sleigh Ride tickets are non-refundable.
If your plans change, you may be able to transfer your booking to another available date or time, subject to availability.
Ticket transfers
A £10 administration fee applies to all ticket transfers.
Please note:
- Transfers are subject to availability.
- Your preferred date or time cannot be guaranteed.
- Popular dates and times may already be fully booked.
- Tickets remain non-refundable.
We recommend checking your booking carefully before completing your purchase.
No.
Advance booking is essential for all guests. Annual members may visit the farm without booking, but must bring their membership ID.
We cannot guarantee availability for walk-in visitors.
Yes, your sleigh ride tickets allow you access to Piglets Adventure Farm anytime within our opening hours, between 9:30am-4pm (The adventure park is not lit past 4pm) on the day your sleigh ride is booked.
You can arrive as early as you would like but, it is important to arrive 30 minutes before your sleigh ride time slot to allow the necessary time to check in.
Please note, that in the case of bad weather we will close areas of the park that are not part of the Magical Sleigh Ride experience, this is at our discretion to maintain good heath and safety across the site.
On The Day
Please check your booking confirmation before setting off and make sure you have:
- Your booking reference
- The correct date
- Your allocated Magical Sleigh Ride time
- The correct number of passengers on your booking
We recommend keeping your booking confirmation available on your phone when you arrive.
Only to our members, the Animal Barn, Farmyard Trail and most of the Adventure Park will be open from 21st November to 24th December 2026 weather permitting.
Please arrive at Piglets at least 30 minutes before your allocated Magical Sleigh Ride time.
This allows time to:
- Check in
- Visit the Elf Airlines Departure Lounge
- Get your passport stamped
- Get ready for your flight
Please don’t be late!
Your sleigh will depart at its allocated time.
Late arrivals may miss their flight and unfortunately cannot be rescheduled.
Our Magical Sleigh Ride Experience is carefully timed throughout the day, so we are unable to hold departures for late guests.
During the Christmas season, the Departure Lounge opens at 9am ready for the first flight at 9.30am.
The Adventure Farm outdoor play will also open at 9am. Please note that the Animal Barn and Trail does not open until 10am.
During the Christmas season, the Adventure Farm closes at 4pm each day due to darkness.
The Animal Barn, Farmyard Trail and Adventure Park attractions will close at this time.
But the Christmas magic continues!
The Magical Sleigh Ride Experience is fully lit and continues into the evening.
The Christmas experience remains open until 7.30pm each evening, after the final sleigh visitors have left Santa’s Woodland Village.
If you have a later Magical Sleigh Ride time, please be aware that the wider Adventure Farm will already have closed at 4pm.
The Indoor Play Barn is closed and will be reopening for February half term 2027.
The following attractions will not be operating during the Magical Sleigh Ride season:
- Indoor Play Barn
- Barrel Train Ride
- Maize Maze
- Beach Area
- Tractor & Trailer Ride
- Fairy Trail
Please note that the Go Karts, Bouncing Pillows and some other attractions may also close temporarily due to poor weather or safety requirements. These decisions are made at our discretion.
Yes!
Your Magical Sleigh Ride ticket allows you to enter Piglets Adventure Farm during your visit.
You can arrive early and enjoy the Adventure Farm before your Magical Sleigh Ride — just remember that you must be at check-in at least 30 minutes before your allocated sleigh departure.
Please remember:
- The Farm Yard Trail and Animal Barn open at 10am.
- The wider Adventure Farm closes at 4pm due to darkness.
- The Magical Sleigh Ride Experience continues beyond this time and is fully lit until the final visitors leave at approximately 7.30pm.
Selected areas of Piglets Adventure Farm will be open during the Christmas season, weather permitting.
These may include:
- The Animal Barn
- Farmyard Trail
- Selected outdoor play areas
- Other seasonal farm activities
Opening times and available attractions may vary due to weather, daylight, safety and operational requirements.
Toilets and baby changing facilities are available at:
- Retail Shop
- Departure Lounge
- Santa’s Woodland Village
- Main Adventure Farm facilities
Accessible toilets are also available.
Please ask a member of our team if you need help locating the nearest facilities
Much of the Christmas experience takes place outdoors, so please come prepared for winter weather.
We recommend:
- Warm coats
- Hats, scarves and gloves
- Wellies or sturdy waterproof footwear
- Waterproof clothing
Some areas of the experience are undercover or heated, but we recommend dressing for the weather so you can enjoy your magical adventure comfortably.
Due to space and safety restrictions, buggies cannot be taken on the Magical Sleigh or into the Woodland Village.
If you are visiting with a baby or young child, we recommend bringing a baby carrier or sling where possible.

We want every family to enjoy the magic of Christmas at Piglets.
As the experience takes place across our farm and includes the Magical Sleigh journey to Santa’s Woodland Village, wheelchair users are asked to let us know in advance of their visit so our team can prepare for their arrival.

This allows our team to make the necessary preparations ahead of your arrival and help make your experience as enjoyable as possible.
Please be aware that the experience takes place in a farm environment and some areas may include uneven ground.
The safety of our visitors and team is always our priority.
If severe weather conditions mean that it is unsafe for Piglets Adventure Farm to open, we may need to cancel the Magical Sleigh Ride Experience for the affected day.
If we need to cancel due to a severe weather warning:
- All affected guests will be contacted as soon as possible using the details provided at the time of booking.
- All affected bookings will be automatically refunded in full.
Important – we cannot guarantee a transfer
If we have to cancel the event, there is no guarantee that we will be able to move your tickets to another date or time.
Our Magical Sleigh Ride Experience is extremely popular and alternative dates and times may already be fully booked.
We therefore cannot reserve or hold places for guests affected by a cancellation.
Once your refund has been processed, it will be the responsibility of each guest to make a new booking themselves, should they wish to visit on another date and if availability remains.
Any new booking will be subject to availability at the time of booking.
In simple terms:
Piglets cancels → Your booking is automatically refunded → You can rebook yourself if another slot is available.
Please keep an eye on your emails and our social media channels if severe weather is forecast before your visit.
If there is no need to close the farm, the Magical Sleigh Ride Experience will go ahead as planned wherever it is safe to do so. Some outdoor areas or attractions may close or be adapted due to weather and safety conditions.
